The logistics industry as an important pillar of the national economy, more and more interesting, the same as the national economy based on oil and chemical industry, from crude oil, natural gas, coal and vegetable oil as the most upstream raw material for processing, the intermediate process involves a lot of logistics activities, performance the number of large tonnage, high security requirements, logistics costs significantly; another way Chinese good economic development has brought a huge market for chemicals, chemical logistics to promote social growth. To study how to reduce logistics costs, risks and control logistics operations to reduce energy consumption, is of great significance.In this paper the finished product emulsion from Celanese how to plan to reduce overall freight transportation mode for solving the goal, through on the highway transportation, ISO-TANK container cans, highway, railway transport and the rail road transport various modes of transportation comparison, determined in different cases due to chemical transportation different modes of transportation, summed up for the chemical business a best model for domestic transportation.Research from the qualitative analysis, to choose reasonable several modes of transportation, and optimizing transport including road, railway, ship or above the combination way transport, optimize packaging carrier including trays, plastic or iron bucket, the container cans, containers, set in the barrel, large oil tank, optimize the transportation quantity, conditions, transport node route, so as to obtain actual operation mode of transportation set. The gray system theory is used for transportation mode scheme selection decision-making, and the method of quantitative and qualitative organic combine, and using the AHP analytic hierarchy process in its weight, make originally complex problem becomes clear and simple, and the calculation methods in a certain degree of the subjective decision makers out business, come to the conclusion is objective, is of reference value, ultimately determine the best transport mode.This case through the application of the actual transport emulsion demonstration, showing the full cost of intermodal competitiveness, reduce transport costs effectively, develop into a suitable transport chemicals to the coastal cities of the western region safe and efficient logistics model. However, domestic intermodal hardware and software limitations, multimodal transport development in China has yet to play out the full benefits, but also sincerely hope to play in multimodal research that, ultimately promoting the fields of logistics in the chemical full use, to further improve China's chemical logistics competitiveness.
