At present, many household appliances are widely used. The operating temperature of some appliances is 300℃, even the instantaneous temperature reaches 500℃. This put forward higher demand on the printing ink used for the protection and decoration. The curing temperature of the traditional high-temperature resistance printing ink is higher, so the resources are seriously wasted. In addition, the price of the import printing ink is expensive. Thus the research on printing ink of low curing temperature and high-temperature resistance has important value.In this work, the methyl phenyl silicone resin was synthesized by hydrolysis condensa-tion method using MTMS and DDS as raw materials. The high-temperature-resistance printing ink was prepared by using as-synthesized as binder.The effects of deionized water amount, raw material y(R/Si), solvent type on preparation process, structure and the thermal stability of methyl phenyl silicone resin were investigated. The results show the best preparation parameter of the methyl phenyl silicone resins is followed, the amount of deionized water is n(H2O)/n(CH3O)=1,γ(R/Si)=1.35, acetone as solvent. And the IR analysis shows that methyl phenyl silicone resin possesses hydroxyl-terminated group. Through the analysis of TG-DTG, silicone resin mass loss was only 2.5% at 400℃, and its mass loss was only 7.5% at 500℃. TG-DTG analysis shows that as-synthesized silicone resin has excellent stability.A kind of high-temperature-resistance silicone printing ink was prepared by using as-synthesized methyl phenyl silicone resin as binder. The effects of the thermostable fills (nano-SiO2, mica power, talcum powder, low melting point glass dust) and pigment (titanium dioxide, melanin, pearlescent pigment, aluminum power) on the performance of high temperature resistance silicone printing ink were studied, such as heat resistant performance, cold and hot alternation performance, adhesion, pencil hardness etc. Here, the white printing ink and the black printing ink were studied as typical conduct.Though the comparison test, the best formula of the high-temperature resistance printing white ink is obtained. Namely, nano-SiO2, mica powder, talcum powder, low melting point glass powder and titanium dioxide are 3~5%,10~20%,15~20%,35~45%,60%, respectively. The coating does not cracked after 10 times cold and hot alternation in conditions of 700℃~cold water, the pencil hardness reaches 3H, and the adhesion reaches 1 level after curing. The best formula of high-temperature-resistance black printing ink is that nano-SiO2, low melting point glass powder and melanin are 4%,45%,140%, respectively. The results show that the printing ink coating can resist high temperature of 700℃. The pencil hardness and the adhesion of the cured coating reach 3H and 1 level, respectively.
