As one of the three big devices of the high efficiency and yield of coal excavating, the use life and reliability of hydraulic support is very important. In order to meet the requirements of high yield and efficiency of coal mining, the strength and technology content of this equipment are becoming higher and higher. In order to save money and improve the economic efficiency of mining, many advanced Countries that yield coal have launched research of hydraulic powered support actively. And also in order to improve the design of hydraulic support and manufacturing quality, and ensure the safety and reliability of the mechanized mining support equipment, it is necessary to detect and test a variety of conditions before the products leave the factory, so that the hydraulic load test bed is the indispensable equipment. In this thesis, the SZL1000/300 hydraulic test bed is one of the large hydraulic support test equipment to meet the special requirements of modern mining hydraulic support test.This paper describes the relevant standards and features of hydraulic support, tells the actual use of hydraulic supports in the situation of different force, and expounds the Whole Hydraulic Support testing programs. According to "The General technical requirements of Hydraulic Technology" (MT312-2000), the structure of the SZL1000/300 hydraulic support test bed is designed and the 3D models of the machine and its assemblage are built up with the software Solidworks. Choose three kinds of the most dangerous force conditions, using the ANSYS Workbench for the structural strength analysis, and give suggestions for the results. Finally, the characteristics and the structure of the hydraulic support test bed are introduced, and according to the security, real-time and reliability requirements, the equipments are selected, and in this paper, place emphasis up on PLC control programming and human-computer interface design.This design tries to avoid the shortcoming and the problems of the traditional design method. In order to ensure the accuracy and reliability, shorten the design period and reduce the cost of design, it created a virtual prototype environment to achieve the mutual integration of SolidWorks-ANSYS, and at the same time, in the design of monitoring system, it improves the degree of automation. The subject method is also used in the study of other hydraulic support test bed during the design and development.
