Cutinase is one of the key biological enzymes in cotton scouring, the study about cutinase has great significance in pushing forward clean and green cotton scouring. In order to increase the affinity of cutinase to the cotton fabric and improve the catalyst efficiency of cutinase, Jiangnan University fused cellulose binding domain (CBD) into cutinase , thus created a new enzyme which has higher adsorbability on cotton fabric. This paper studied the adsorption of cutinase-CBD and cutinase to different substrates, especially investigated the effect of adsorption by fusing CBD into cutinase. The cotton knitted fabrics were treated by cutinase and cutinase-CBD, the results were shown by constrast in the paper.After studying the adsorbality of cutinase-CBD and cutinase on cellulose fibers, the results showed that the cutinase-CBD had better adsorbality on cellulose fibers, the adsorption capacity and adsorption rate were obviously higher than citinase, and if the hydroxyl of cellulose were partly esterified, the adsorbality of cutinase-CBD decreased a little while still higher than cutinase, when the cellulose was covered by hydrophobic impurities, both the adsorbality of the two cutinase decreased, and the adsorbality of cutinase-CBD was even lower than cutinase. The study of the adsorption kinetics of cutinase-CBD and cutinase showed that the adsorbality of cutinase on cellulose coincided with model para-first order kinetics, cutinase-CBD on cellulose coincided with model para-second order kinetics, cutinase-CBD on cellulose acetate fiber and cotton knitted fabrics coincided with model para-first order kinetics. Study on adsorption thermodynamics of cutinase-CBD and cutinase showed that the adsorbality of both the enzymes coincided with Langmuir model, the adsorption parameters showed that the bonding force between cutinase and cellulose were enhanced because by fusing CBD into cutinase ,but when the hydroxyl of cellulose were partly esterified or the molecular chains were covered, the adsorbality of cutinase-CBD decreased.At last, cutinase-CBD and cutinase were used in cotton fabric scouring, so we studied the effect of pH, temperature, enzyme concentration, treatment time on cotton fabric weight reduction rate and water wetting time. The results showed that both cutinase has similar suitable process conditions for pH is about 8 , temperature is 50-55 C, enzyme concentration is 2000U / L, processing time is around 3 hours. The comparison of the pretreatment effect between cutinase and cutinase-CBD showed that cutinase-CBD has better pretreatment effect, and the waxy was removed more obviously.
