The Analysis Of Municipal Solid Waste Process In Chengdu Urban Area

As a important part of tough question of environmental protection challenging human being in the21-century.At present,4000-5000tons of municipal solid waste are produced per day in Chengdu, which is estimated to increase greatly with the further development of economy and society. In this situation, optimizing the management mechanism become urgent and inevitable.The main purpose of this project is to find out the stratagems and desirable methods that can be applied to Chengdu by dissecting the problem of municipal solid waste treatment. In this thesis, investigation and analysis thoroughly the emission and collection status of municipal solid waste in Chengdu, investigation and analysis the disposal and recycle status of municipal solid waste in Chengdu, and also prediction the production of municipal solid waste. Grounded on the analysis of current waste management system, the thesis primarily focuses on its deficiencies, for example, the handle of waste is unscientific, the transport is unsanitary. The reform aim to:clearly define responsibilities,disjoin the functions of government from those of enterprises,strengthen the supervision and improve the macro and integrated management,deepen the reform of sanitation system.
