The efficient anti-winkle reagent BTCA is too costly to be widely used. So in this research, an alginate derivatives PGA is synthesized. Then the PGA mixed with BTCA, CA is used in the anti-crease finishing of cotton fabrics. The synthesis technicality of PGA is confirmed by a single-factor experiment at first. Then the reaction product is confirmed by infrared spectrum. With the change of hydrochloric acid, reaction temperature, reaction time and rotate speed. The best synthesis technicality of PGA is confirmed here by a cross-cut experiment. The results show that in the case of fully excessive epoxy propane, the best ratio between sodium alginate and hydrochloric acid is 1:3, the dosage of hydrochloric acid is around 15ml,reaction temperature is 50℃, rotate speed is 40r/min, and reaction time is 8h, the yield of PGA is 71.2%.The effect of the amount of PGA, BTCA, different curing temperature and curing time on cotton fabric is confirmed here by a single-factor experiment at first. The results show that it is feasible to use BTCA as a cross-linking agent with PGA in the cotton anti-wrinkle finishing technologies, this technology can raise the cotton fabric's wrinkle recovery angle around 80°, but the fabric touch and strength will be decrease. With the change of the amount of PGA, BTCA, different curing temperature and curing time, a four-factor orthogonal four-level processing of the cotton. By measuring the crease recovery angle, whiteness, tear strength and other properties to determine the best process. The results showed by the orthogonal experimental results and range analysis of the optimum preparation conditions is:PGA is 15g/L, BTCA is 40g/L, curing 150s under 190℃. Crease recovery angle of the treated cotton fabric can be 265°. The mechanical properties of the finished fabrics decrease significantly when been washed. Then the PGA mixed with citric acid is used in the anti-crease finishing of cotton fabrics. Change the amount of PGA, citric acid, different curing temperatures and curing time. By measuring the crease recovery angle, whiteness, tear strength and other properties to determine the best process. Results show that the yellowing tendency of cotton fabrics treated by PGA and CA mixture is improved. The result showed by the orthogonal experimental results and range analysis of the optimum preparation conditions is:PGA is 25g/L, citric acid is 60g/L, curing temperature is 170℃, curing time 150s. Crease recovery angle of the treated cotton fabric can be 257°, this technology can raise the cotton fabric's wrinkle recovery angle around 80℃.The mechanical properties of the finished fabrics decrease significantly when been washed.
