Indoor Air Quality Monitoring System Based On ZigBee

Health, safety and environment management system, referred to as HSE management system, is a high risk industry of petrochemical.It requires organization to analy the risks, determine the harm and consequences that may occur in its activities, and take the effective preventive and control measures. HSE management system is a common management system of international oil and chemical industry, it is a permit of entering into the international market, it is a modern management model, and it is one of the modern enterprise systems.In this paper, arounding the parts of implementation and monitoring of HSE management system, based on the indoor working environment of oil and chemical companies, with the analysis on the monitoring requirements and implementation, a program of indoor air quality monitoring system based on ZigBee is proposed. According to the structure of system design, the related technical theories and the special processes of indooring air quality detecting terminal, ZigBee wireless router, ZigBee wireless gateway and monitoring software based on PC are introduced. Detecting terminal can real-timely detect the parameters of indoor air quality through the use of gas sensor detecting technologies; wireless router and gateway can achieve the wireless transmission and reception of the parameters through the use of ZigBee wireless networking technology; monitoring software receives and processes the parameters to achieve the in-line monitoring of indoor air quality. Finally, by testing the fuctions of the system, it is proved that the system can work properly.
