Carpet foam machine is a commonly used equipment in automotive carpet industry, Because of its continuous operation for a long time,strong rhythm,high reliability and complex load conditions, it has a more strict requirement for the hydraulic system. This automotive carpet foam hydraulic speed control system of proportional variable pump control hydraulic cylinder. The advantages of the system is high efficiency,low heat,long life, so it suitable for high pressure and large flow applications, both in the filed of military and civilian have applications. As technology advances, as a connector of computer and the speed control system of pump control cylinder, electro-hydraulic proportional technology is widely used in industrial applications. For improve the ability to work of pump control cylinder system, it is necessary study the system architecture and control strategy from the control theory.This paper first describes the development of electro-hydraulic proportional technology and proportional variable displacement piston pump, and their advantages apply in the industrial filed. And summarized the application status of electro-hydraulic proportional control system. Then studied the hydraulic system and electrical control system of the automotive carpet foam. In-depth research and analysis of the speed control principle of the system. Studied the physical laws, which followed by the control system of electro-hydraulic proportional variable piston pump control hydraulic cylinder. And establish the mathematical model of the system, then based on the mathematical model, using Matlab/Simulink establish the simulation model. And through simulation to get different state variables curve. Simulation results show that the system has good dynamic performance, to achieve the requirements of automotive carpet produce process, indicating that the system's control strategy is reasonable and feasible.Through the research and modeling simulation to the speed control system of electro-hydraulic proportional variable piston pump control hydraulic cylinder, to achieved the control requirements on theories, provides a theoretical basis for the development of the hydraulic system, and to the structural parameters select have some practical guide.
