With the advent of Chinese industrial structure upgrade, a number of highenergy consumption, Low efficiency of the old-fashioned forging equipmentwill be eliminated, modern forging equipment with high precision and highefficiency will have a broad market. Hydraulic press has a large trip, simplestructure, high working pressure, easily adjusted, low noise and many otheradvantages plays an important role in the field of forging equipment. Usingmodern design theory to devise hydraulic press has been more taken seriously. This paper completed the finite element analysis and structure optimization for80MN fast forging hydraulic press.According to the parameters of the hydraulic press, load characteristicsand design experience, selected three typical conditions: upsetting, reamingand stretching, combined Pro/E and ANSYS to establish finite element modelof the hydraulic machine, analyzed the overall characteristics, obtained staticcharacteristics of the hydraulic press. In the maximum working load, analyzedthe stress and strain fields of the main components, provide the basis for thestructural design and optimization.Described the concepts and theories of model analysis. Used the Lanczosmethod to analyze the dynamic performance of the hydraulic machine, got thetop ten natural frequencies of the hydraulic press and the corresponding modes. The natural frequencies and the working frequency had a big difference, wouldnot produce resonance, and analyzed the impact of each vibration mode to thehydraulic press, learned its dynamic characteristics.Lower beam as the main bearing component of the hydraulic press, directly affects the machining accuracy of the hydraulic press. Based on finiteelement analysis results optimized the structure of lower beam by usingANSYS Workbench. Reduced the thickness of the middle ribs, the stressdistribution was more uniform, and reduced the weight of lower beam, savedmaterial and reduced costs, provided a reference for the design of the hydraulicpress.
