At present, the ball mill in the processing work is one of the main broken equipment, but the low efficiency and high power consumption of ball mill have been concerned by each country and enterprise. On the promise of considering mill power consumption, the thesis is aim at researching the rotation rate of the mill and liner structure design parameters on the grinding effect, to get a solution making the mill working in reasonable situation. The paper's results may provide the basis for the design of the ladder-liner and also may save the cost of the design of the liner, ccording to different grinding conditions to design a suitable liner, so as to make rational use of resources and improve the grinding efficiency.The research object of the thesis is (?)1.5×3.5m overflow ball mill and ladder-type liner.First of all,in order to improve the synthetical capability of ladder-liner, through the tribology theory to calculate the ladder-liner board curve equation.Next,establish14groups of simulation model according to parameters of the ladder-liner, friction angle, arc angle, height difference and different speed. using discrete element method(DEM) EDEM software for mill medium motion simulation, and obtain14groups of related data, combined with the grinding theory, to analyze the efect of the ladder-liner in the3variables (friction angle, arc angle, height difference) and the mill speed on mill power and impact-energy separately.Finally,to further study the ladder-liner structural design parameters on the grinding effects, according to the stress analisis of medium in the process of movement, deduce the trajectory equation of the medium motion of the ladder-liner effect. The ladder liner friction angle as the study object to establish6kinds of motion simulation model, using the discrete element software EDEM in different rotation rate on6kinds of model of the movement simulation, and analysis the effect of friction angle on medium motion under the different rotate speed. Through the research of the thesis, it can provide a reference for the enterprises,when the enterprises choose or design the liner.
