With the rapid development of road in our country, highway mileage has increased constantly. These roads affected by many factors had varying degrees of early damage, resulting in the maintenance task is arduous. In recent years, emphasis on preventive maintenance of asphalt pavement is increasing. But in practical application process, the concept varies, there is no corresponding evaluation indicators and criteria, the timing is difficult to ascertain and rely on experience and many other problems, which makes preventive maintenance technology difficult to play to their strengths. Although optimum timing method is a lot, most determination between the optimum timing and countermeasures is separate and not considered together. Thus, with the support of the main trunk highway in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, asphalt pavement preventive maintenance optimum timing and Countermeasures have been full-scale researched.The mainly contents are as follows:①89 roads at home and abroad, application status and funding situation of preventive maintenance in Hebei Province and conservation status of the main trunk road in Cangzhou City have been deeply investigated and analysised. The current deep-seated problems in preventive maintenance technique application have been revealed.②In allusion to the current criterion lack of specific evaluation criteria for preventive maintenance, the indexs of the cracks, rutting, other damage conditions, pavement anti-slide performance, riding quality and strength has been in-depth studied. The evaluation index and standard of asphalt pavement preventive maintenance has been proposed.The asphalt pavement performance range of preventive maintenance treatment is defined.③From reliability and representativeness of the indicators data, asphalt pavement preventive maintenance evaluation system based on interval numberand and gray correlation degree is established. The evaluation results are compared with the standard evaluation results.④In allusion to the characteristics and application results of Preventive maintenance methods, the applicability of preventive maintenance measures has been in-depth analysised. preventive maintenance measures selection system based on objective has been built up.⑤Integration optimization method of asphalt pavement preventive maintenance timing and counterm-easures is put forward. Optimization system of asphalt pavement preventive maintenance timing and countermeasures based on the remodeling DEA is established. This achieves sequence of the asphalt pavement preventive maintenance timing and countermeasures and determines the best combination of measures and countermeasures.⑥In order to facilitate preventive maintenance combination of timing and countermeasures to identify and carry out preventive maintenance management, integration optimization management system of preventive maintenance is developed.⑦Based on asphalt pavement preventive maintenance timing and countermeasures integration optimization model of remodeling DEA, preventive maintenance timing and measures optimization of 10 typical sections in G104, G106, G205, G307, S282 and S283 are identified and maintenance plan is sequenced.
