In china, there is a lot of accumulated snow and ice on pavement because of the cold winter. It not only seriously influences the traffic safety but also restricts the road conveying efficiency and economic growth. So, it's very important to clear the snow and ice on pavement. Taking the rubber particles with high elastic into asphalt mixture as aggregate is a new method, called dry process Through changing the stress condition of ice-snow and the bound state between pavement and ice-snow it can reach the purpose. Meanwhile, the process provides a new approach for recovering rubber. The thesis adopts volume method to mix the rubber particles into mixture and confirms the reasonable mixing technology. Analyze the influence on pavement performance of different mixing amount and particle size and recommend the best combination. For resolving the problem of flaking in application, the study mixes slake lime, cement and the both mixture into asphalt mixture. And test the pavement performance through experiments. The thesis takes BPN and it's variation as evaluation index for clearing ice-snow. It uses icebreaking instrument to perform simulation test. It studies the difference between the rubber particles asphalt mixture and common asphalt mixture in clearing ice-snow. And it analyses the influence of grain size and proportion of rubber and text temperature in clearing ice-snow.The research results indicate that adopting Marshall forming method can reduce the void ratio and resilience to guarantee the fine molding quality. Taking the rubber particles into asphalt mixture can enhance the high temperature stability and low temperature crack resistance. However, it has a bad influence on water stability. It also can improve the performance of clearing ice-snow. With the size and proportion increasing the result is better. Low temperature has a bad effect on result. Adding 1.5% slaked lime into rubber asphalt mixture can obviously improve the water stability. Meanwhile it has the best road performance. Taking the clearing ice-snow and road performance into account, the thesis confirms the size 20 and proportion 3% as the best combination.
