Bridge construction is a great development in the world,but in recent years due to the increase in traffic and heavy vehicle,the destruction of the bridge deck pavement is more and more obvious.From the perspective of a current bridge pavement damage:the main reason is due to the shear capacity of the surfacing layer materials,in the horizontal shear deformation damage;Second due to temperature change and the rain erosion,summer the surfacing layer rutting,winter easy cracking;Middle and large span bridge panel,panel due to excessive deflection,pavement and bridge panel can't keep the same deformation and cracks.To solve above problems,this paper combined the existing research results,the study of pavement layer below.Asphalt mixture of mineral aggregate gradation selecting AC-20,rubber particles according to the volume 3%substitution,such as steel fiber content by 0%,1%,2%,3%,mixed with asphalt mixture in the four variables,by right of performance test and the analysis of the surfacing layer shear simulation,laboratory test,the following results:(1)Steel fiber mixed with rubber particles in asphalt mixture,the steel fiber evenly distributed form a three-dimensional network structure,obviously improve the dynamic stability.(2)Through constant low temperature splitting test found that incorporation of steel fiber reinforced rubber particles in asphalt mixture of splitting strength not only increase,and have good ductility.(3)The steel fiber in rubber particles in asphalt mixture has good reinforcement effect,enhanced ability to resist rain water erosion.(4)In the surfacing layer shear indoor simulation experiment concluded that steel fiber in rubber particles in asphalt mixture can be effective against concentrated stress,shear strength increased significantly.(5)Too much steel fiber to the cluster of bundles,to meet the solid state.And steel fiber cost is too high,too much consideration of steel fiber dosage control applied in the actual engineering at best 2%.
