Because of the characteristic of easy storage and simply structure, solid rocket play a important role on rocket area. At the same time of introduction of new material,new technology,new arts and crafts, we also need to develop the test technology. Virtual instruments is the hot research subject of test area now, Virtual instruments is the developing trend of the third generation of test system. Thanks to Virtual instruments, we can easily share the resource, test system can be built rapidly, and we can use computer powerfully calculate function to achieve complex data processing.The paper based on the requirements of the data processing in the currently rocket engine test, this paper designs a new professional system of the rocket engine experiments. This research aimed to design the overall structure of system based on the concept of virtual instrument; to select and build the system hardware against the rockets test requirements; to write the system of software components based on NI company launched LabVIEW software platform; to realize the functions such as collected signal digital filter, the frequency domain analysis and zero processing etc based on the LabVIEW; and to realize the automatic calculation according to the data collected, the specific impulse and total impulse of rocket experiments etc based on the LabVIEW. Accordingly, we proved that both the system acquisition function and data processing meet the actual needs well.
