| The building energy-saving will be the development trend of future architecture with the influences of energy shortage and the rising needs of people living environment. The exterior insulation system is being used most widely in the numerous modes of building energy-saving. But the exterior insulation system has appeared a lot of problems in practical application, especially the strengths of bonding mortar were insufficient, and the finishing mortar easily cracked and so on. The most important constituents of affecting the properties of the mortars were polymer powders, whose quality and performance and admixing content made the bonding mortar and the finishing mortar have quality problems. The experiment researches were carried in this paper in order to help the enterprises of producing mortars use polymer powders correctly and reasonably.Research Methods:For the EPS board and thin plaster external wall insulation system, Preparation and properties of the specimen test method went on according to JG149-2003 "external thermal insulation composite systems based on expanded polystyrene" in the bonding mortar and finishing mortar bonding requirements. PU composite panel for exterior perfusion XPS insulation system, Preparation and properties of the specimen test method went on according to DBJ41/T073-2008 "technical specification of external thermal insulation on walls by compound panel being primed with polyurethane foam" in the requirements of the bonding mortar.Research results:The bonding mortar for EPS board, In order to meet the requirements prescribed bond strength index, the minimum admixture of powder for Wacker5044N powder, Elotex2350 powder, domestic powder A and domestic powder 501 is 20‰,18‰,20‰and 12‰(with mortar quality percents plan). For plaster mortar of EPS board, In order to meet the requirements prescribed bond strength index, the minimum admixture of powder for Wacker5044N powder, Elotex2350 powder, domestic powder A and domestic powder 501 is 18‰,23‰,20‰and 15‰. And the front three types of powder satisfied the flexibility of specification required whereas domestic powder 501 did not. And when the admixture of silicone hate agent 2‰of the surface, plaster mortar can meet the index, bibulous rate was required. For the bonding mortar of XPS board, in order to meet specified early (7d) bond strength index requirements, with ordinary Portland cement mixed with 15% since the early strength agent with compound could achieve early strength effect. The minimum admixture of three kinds of domestic powder (i.e., domestic powder 501, powder of Terracotta warriors, powder of oules) is 17‰,25‰and 23‰;only that can satisfy the bonding strength index required.Conclusions:Domestic powder 501 is belong to pure acrylic base products, has the very high bond strength and water resistance, but flexibility is not so good. As a result,the cement mortar modified by domestic powder 501 is suitable for bonding mortar of EPS and XPS board and has good economic benefits; The other five kinds of domestic powder used in experimental research all belong to ethylene-acetic acid vinyl products whose salient features is great flexibility; The cement mortar modified by these powder is suitable for plaster mortar of EPS and XPS board; If the modified cement mortar needs the early cohesive strength(such as three days'or seven days'), the early strength agent and the ordinary Portland cement can replace the rapid hardening sulphoaluminate, it will has a great of economic benefits. |
