In the braking system of the locomotive microcomputer control, electromagnetic valve is a critical components, it receives signals used for air output signal, will be able to realize the fast response and remote control. Whether the 21C electromagnetic valve performance is stable and reliable will directly affect the reliability of the braking system of the locomotive. To ensure safe operation of locomotives, locomotive 21C electromagnetic valve is required for the role of functional and mechanical characteristics of accurate and comprehensive measurement, thus, need to develop a comprehensive testing system,21C electromagnetic valve test rig. Its role is to verify all the properties of 21C electromagnetic valve to ensure product quality and reliable. This set of locomotive brake system or traffic operational safety is of great significance.This paper firstly analyzes the 21C electromagnetic valve structure characteristics and basic working principle. On the basis of it,21C electromagnetic valve is simulated, and gets the 21C solenoid valve performance simulation results. Then determines the 21C electromagnetic valve test items and related test procedures, and designs a testing system of basic structure. According to the basic principle of electromagnetic valve, discusses the basic principle of electromagnetic valve performance test and designs the performance test of the basic scheme. The electromagnetic valve performance test is mainly for pressure test, through the pressure responses electromagnetic valve performance of opening and closing.Then, this paper designs a pneumatic control and circuit control part. On the basis of it, the test system hardware part is designed and selected, makes each part and the system matching with, meets the testing requirements.According to the test mission, uses Lab VIEW compiling a software program. It mainly includes sensor calibration, curve acquisiton and playback, main test program and documents playback, and other functions. It realizes standardization and automation, and esay to reviw the history testing datas. It designs a friendly man-machine interface, the tester can be skilled after simple training to complete test of 21C electromagnetic valve.Finally, it discusses electromagnetic performance tests of the electromagnetic valve, and designs a software realization method. It analyses the related factors which effects electromagnetic valve performance, and put forward some relevant measures.
