| Project management is a very popular subject nowadays. It has been widely used in many areas such as architecture, war industry and large scale projects. At the same time it has also been well developed with advanced research methods. Many aspects are involved in the management:project integration management, project scope, project schedule, project cost, project quality, project human resource, project communications, project risk, project buyer etc. Among those aspects we used to focus on project schedule, project cost and project quality. Because these three points are the core of all the problems which draw both supply and demand's attention. As long as schedule, cost and quality are under control through every stage the project will be completed successfully.In the classic project management theory, project cases and research aim at generally constructed project. In every single stage like launch, plan, implementation, control or closure, the main consideration factors include that if the outcome achieves the expected requirement according to the schedule with the reasonable cost except the influence on original environment.With the development of techniques and the upgrade of principles, there will be more and more reconstructed projects in the future. Moreover a large amount of uninterrupted projects will be in progress. Especially the computer network develops so rapidly that it has a full impact on people's daily life and makes the dependency deeper and deeper. As the heart of the network, the data center contains many core equipments. The importance of safety and reliability there are undoubted. So the reconstructed project for a data center must have higher requirement. Since the network works all the day old reconstructed way'day time rest and work overnight'could not lower the risk for project quality any more. The cost of both economy and society for shutting down all kinds of equipments to do the implementation is very high. Due to above reasons, the time left for implementation is so limited. How to reduce the shut down time and avoid accidentally down time has became the quality evaluating standard for this kind of project.In this thesis, the author includes some projects from his work and combines the knowledge from what he has learned during the master degree studying. It gives the conclusion about the management methods for schedule and quality in on-line reconstructed projects. Specified work is modified, project schedule is designed and checkpoint for schedule and quality are set. The dynamic management for uninterrupted reconstructed projects has been successfully implemented. |
