Research On Schedule Management Of The Second Stage Dredging Project Of Dalian Port Taiping Bay Port Channel

The development of economic construction makes dredging project more and mor-e important. That success in constructing Port, waterway, water conservancy facilities, land reclamation and dredging project can not only be used to the development of ec-onomy and the protection of environment, but also makes contribute to the progress o f human beings and sustainable development. Besides, the core competence of dredgin-g company depends on project management, so the project management especially the schedule management is becoming more and more important. The existing literature a-bout project management especially the schedule management of dredging engineering is still relatively small, so this article will be on the basis of past literature about dr-edging engineering project management which has been studied by scholars in the pa-st, combined with my own and other's experience in dredging engineering project man-agement, using the empirical methods for dredging project schedule management syste-m research.Comparatively speaking, dredging project has less working procedures and can be easily influenced by weather condition, sea condition, ship condition and other factors, so the progress management for dredging projects is different from ordinary projects. Attentions must be specially paid to the calculation of dredging production rate and w orking-time rate at the time of making progress scheme, and the management of all i nfluential factors is the key of progress control. Progress scheme of dredging project s hould fully take into consider the change of natural conditions like weather, sea cond--ition and geological condition and leaves margins. The non-stop development of dred-ging technology is bringing higher production capacity to dredgers and also posing hi-gher demand for our progress management. How to improve the production capacity o f dredgers from technical aspect and to "dig up" the potential of dredging operation a re also important content of progress management.This article discusses from progress plans, progress control, progress dynamic me-asurement, and progress of optimization and in engineering implementation process in the system of guarantees measures aspects of dredging project, based on the theory o-f schedule management, from project manager's angle, combined with actual project e-xperience, taking a system research on the progress of Dalian port Taiping Bay port channel engineering construction project management. Firstly, constituting the channel e-ngineering progress plan of the TaiPing Bay Port Area in DaLian Port, and putting f-orwarding process specific optimization scheme for the problems which usually occur i-n the implementation of the project. Secondly, according to the actually situation, anal-yzing the influence factors of the schedule plan, taking reasonable measures to avoid the influence caused by these objective factors on the implementation of the progress plan. Finally, analyzing and selecting the valuable prioritization scheme for the progres-s management according to the actual construction condition. In order to insure the i-mplementation of quality and safety plan, this article presents detailed technical, organi-zational, economic and engineering management systems and measures, and the projec-t organization structure is designed to illustrate key issues in construction project.
