Modern power system is a large-scale system composed of regional systems, which are closely connected, both supporting each other and mutually constraining. In recent years, with the scale of power grid enlarging constantly, the structure of power grid becoming complexly and the number of devices in power system growing increasingly, higher requirement for the dispatching has been put forward. Dispatching information management system, as an important part of power supply company operation management, plays an important rule in the orgnization, command, guidance, coordination of power net operation.According to standard IEC 61970 CIM/CIS, following by object oriented technology and design partten, using component-based technology such as Common Object Request Broker Architecture(CORBA), The System combines the actual demand of Power Grid Scheduling Management, by analyzing the functions of scheduling and the management of business, completed the design of dispatching information management system based on IEC61970 CIM/CIS.The system can export the grid model from the EMS server formated in CIM XML. We can generate power grid model by substation, loadarea and voltagelevel, and we can generate changes in the network structure of the differences of the model. We can convert the graph of EMS to SVG format, and provide services of GDA(Generic Data Access),HSDA(High Speed Data Access)TSDA(Time Series Data Access).The dispatching information management system based on this design has been applied to power supply company. Through the integration of Scheduling function business,the dispatching management informationization has been realized, the decision-making ability and performance of dispatching production has been greatly improved, and the labor intensity has been reduced. The design has been proved feasibility with the successful application of the system. The development of this project can also provide the informationization reform of district grid dispatching department a feasible solution.
