Since the invention of the electromagnetic valve, it has been one of the key components of the hydraulic and pneumatic automatic control system.In the diffierent areas of the national economy, particularly in aerospace and key military projects,it occupies a very important position. The solenoid valve's quality direct impact on the stability and reliability of the equipments and products which are consisted by the electromagnetic valve. With the continuous development of our society,the demands of the electromagnetic valve are ingcreasing rapidly, there are more requirements for its quality and specification. So we must test the performance of electromagnetic valve.This paper introduces a virtual instrument based on the electromagnetic valve testing.This paper decribed the electromagnetic valve's testing principle, testing parameter definition and testing methods,and proposes the general design scheme.On the pleform of the virtual instruments,it realized data collection and control,test the parameters of the thesolenoid valves's four main characteristics including start time, release time, cooperative movement time, oil return peak. It takes full advantage of computer's powerful computing capability, realize the founction of the electromagnetic valve's parameters of the automatic test, automatic display, storage and printing. With the results of acceptance,we found that the test system has good reliability, stability, great realistic significance and practical value.
