Power grid construction need huge input, and also take up much of the land, so in desperate need of a helpful for construction period is short, low cost, and suitable for China's large capacity, long-distance transmission characteristics of flexible exchange and transmission technology. Controllable series compensation technology can greatly improve existing and new transmission lines where the ability and the grid stability, is the most advanced, the most representative of flexible exchange and transmission technology one.In this paper, Research on Management Scheme of Chengde station installation of series compensation Engineering for Shangdu-Chengde 500KV Transmission Project as the research object. First, an overview series compensation project profiles. This chapter describes the transmission line series compensation technology and the significance of adding series compensation, series compensation project features, construction site, general layout, and clearly the scope of the project contract.
