Research On The Public Participation Of Municipal Household Waste Management Of Lu'an

With the rapid urbanization and the development of economy, municipal household waste are increasing, the way of refuse management, the condition of environmental pollution and the impact on the healthy of citizen are becoming more and more serious. Social dispute and rational Game about waste management is a great event to local government which in the period of transformation, to the development of the civil society, to the environmental movements. On the other hand, the decisions that are made by local government almost base on economic interests, from the point of public participation, the participation of the local residents and social organizations is merely confined to accept the decisions passively. Only citizens really participate in the decision-making, we can achieve the goal, not only to spread new ideas, but also to regulate good habits. So waste management that is tight connect with city development and citizen's life needs effective participation even more.Accordingly, how many citizens participate in the public decisions effectively is the problem that existing research cares about most. This paper aims to establish the effective model of public participation in waste management by introducing the Effective Decision Model of Public Involvement brought forward by John Thomas and through a large number surveys, statistical analysis and interviews, with the expectation to provide a reference for public participation in waste management.In accordance with the research roadmap of review literature, fix the thesis theme and research methods, do survey, study, find the problems, put forward a proposal and the integrated use of questionnaire survey, statistical analysis and information retrieval and other research methods, the paper has drawn a conclusion of the overall level of public participation in the waste management is not high, we can solve the problem according to the line of thought,which is from participation area, participation ways, guarantee system and evaluate the results. Because of the limit of time and research level of the author, there are some deficiencies in the paper, such as, the questionnaire can be improved, the information is broad, there is no guarantee that the statistical is reliable and valid.
