Hydraulic Rudder is complex system with the integrating of the mechanical, hydraulic and control system, also is the segment with the higher failure rate than others, as the acting institution, in the flight controls system. The performance and reliability of Hydraulic Rudder influences the performance and reliability of the flight controls system and whole aerobat. The research focus of flight controls system will move to the research of Rudder, with the developing of flight controls system.This article builds the mathematic model of the Hydraulic Rudder control system, creates the mechanical, hydraulic and electricity integrates model in the presence of the Hydraulic Rudder virtual prototype, analyses the ADAMS model of mechanical system, emulates mechanical, hydraulic system and mechanical, hydraulic, electricity system, analyses the change of rudder face's angle, response time, flow and press ion of hydraulic system, analyses the modality and transient of rudder entity structure making use of ANSYS and finite-element method. Finally, we get the result of modality and transient analysis; give reference to the improvement of rudder structure.Firstly, the mathematic model of the Hydraulic Rudder's hydraulic control system is built, what gives reference to the establishment of Hydraulic Rudder virtual prototype and integrates modeling.Secondly, the mechanical system model is leaded into ADAMS by the model change tool-MECHANISM/Pro which is supplied by ADAMS. As the complexity of the Pro/E model of rudder, mechanical system model is leaded into ADAMS, after simplified and added the necessary constraint. The ADAMS model of mechanical system is analyzed and certified. After then, the model in which mechanical system and hydraulic system are coupled is built, realizing the mechanical and hydraulic co-simulation of the Hydraulic Rudder model.Thirdly, Hydraulic Rudder virtual prototype is established by creating the mechanical, hydraulic and electricity integrates model. The model in which mechanical system and hydraulic system are coupled is leaded into MATLAB/Simulink as adams_sub function. The mathematic model of the Hydraulic Rudder's hydraulic control system is built in MATLAB/Simulink, realizes the mechanical, hydraulic, electricity co-simulation. Response curve of mechanical, hydraulic, electricity co-simulation, at different control sign input, such as moment, velocity and deflection angle of mechanical system; flow and press ion of hydraulic system; response time and curve of control system, and so son.Finally, this article analyses the modality and transient of rudder entity structure, making use of ANSYS and finite-element method, and give reference to the improvement of rudder'structure.These research results of this article have some important academic and practical value, which could be used to provide reference for the research and improvement of Hydraulic Rudder.
