The Study Based On Virtual Instrument Of Performance Testing And Analysis System About Counter-Rotating Fans

In this paper, the testing methods of the various performance parameters of counter-rotating fans had been researched, an operation method of two impellers rev calculation by measuring the frequency of the impeller tip pressure had been proposed, and the principle of counter-rotating fans performance testing had been elaborated. A hardware platform for testing two impellers rev and a hardware platform for performance testing had been built. Two automated testing softwares had been developed through Lab VIEW, one for two impellers rev testing and the other for performance testing of counter-rotating fans. Those softwares can conveniently, rapidly and accurately do the corresponding tests, and can independent be installed for using seceding from LabVIEW platform.The hardware platform for testing two impellers rev and for performance testing is unified as a whole. It's made up of computer, data acquisition card, data acquisition circuit board etc., the data acquisition circuit board is made up of the power rectifier, power transformer, pressure sensors, power sensors, resistances etc.. The testing software for two impellers rev of counter-rotating fans can be able to achieve the real-time display of the pressure pulse, signal analysis and processing, calculating the two impellers rev, drawing the relevant curves, generating Word test report. The testing software for performance can achieve multi-parameter collecting and real-time display, analyzing and processing the dates using average technology, filtering technology, singular points excluding technology. It can also achieve performance calculating, similar conversion, the least squares fitting of performance curves, saving the data and results to the Word test report.The impellers rev testing and performance testing of count-rotating fans has been done through automated testing software and comparing the results with the manual testing. The trial showed that the automated testing software can complete the testing quickly and easily, and the testing results are accurate and effective.
