Car as one important means of transport in the modern society, it not only brings convenience to people, but also avoids effect on our living conditions.In the automobile exhaust emissions pollutant has contained CO, the HC compound, NOx, CO2, SO2, the particle material and so on,in which many pollutant harmful and destroyed the natural environment seriously to the human body,has developed into the serious social question. Thus, by detecting the level of vehicle emissions, deal with the vehicles which do not meet the emission standards, on the one hand, it can detect vehicle faults that may exist; the other hand, it can implement the punishment on high-emission vehicles.At present,many countries have developed a corresponding emission standards, and the vehicle was tested,for example , yearly inspection ,monthly inspection and so on. The traditional detections are non-real-time detection,on the one hand, the vehicle must be stop when the detection,it brings inconvenience to people's living ,on the other hand, it leave to the owners the opportunity to cheat, is not conducive to timely detection of high-emission vehicles, the environment and on social life has brought to people's health risks. In the analysis of the traditional detection methods and emission standards, based on this thesis, an online real-time monitoring of the program, which is the application of sensor technology, wireless network communication technology, automatic control technology and computer technology. Because of the internal combustion engine exhaust has the characteristics of high temperature and chemical composition complex, and the requirement of real-time, this paper choose the high performance and high resolution's electrochemical gas concentration sensor to provide guarantee for the gas concentration monitoring. The other sensor modules and metering pump provides the test conditions which obey the standards for collecting vehicle exhaust. The wired method can't realize remote monitoring as the car's position is uncertainty, while GPRS can realize the wireless communication between the vehicle and monitoring, which can also achieve real-time monitoring to vehicles. Thereby, the GPRS provides the basic technology guarantee for automobile exhaust remote monitoring system.. This paper selects TMS320F2812 to design and develop the automobile exhaust remote monitoring system's hardware platform. And based on the basis of hardware platform, analyzed and plotted software flowchart, write partial software programs to realize the control of main control module to various sub modules, the wireless transmission of GPRS module and the property display of LCD module.Based on countryⅣemission standards ,in this paper,it research the development program of remote monitoring of vehicle exhaust system. The research and development of the system increases system reliability, flexibility and real-time. It makes environmental protection departments, vehicle management and maintenance department to keep abreast of the operation of the vehicle emissions, and timely response. The development of the system can monitor emissions status of vehicle in real-time by reducing the human and material resources of conditions. Its research has a high practical value.
