The Research Of Remote Monitoring And Early Warning System For Wind Turbine Based On GPRS

With the energy crisis and environmental pollution becoming increasingly serious, wind energy, as a renewable and clean energy, attracted more and more attention of the world. In present, wind farms are located in far remote area of a bad environment with difficult maintenance. A remote monitoring and early warning system for wind turbine is designed based on GPRS wireless network. The development of the system has transformed the device’s traditional repairing from ’breakdown maintenance’and ’periodic maintenance’ to modern online automatic monitoring.Operation safety of wind turbines includes many meanings. This paper based on mechanical vibration of the wind generator in operation, researching a set of monitoring system. The paper provides analysis of the basic structure of wind turbine and common fault, and the overall block diagram of the remote monitoring and early warning system for wind turbine is proposed. Design a complete set of remote monitoring and early warning program. On this basis, the hardware and software design of the system are introduced in detail.
