Asphalt pavement discover phenomenon of severe damage, and the rut of asphalt pavement has become the main failure modes of the asphalt pavement, which do harm to safety and comfort of the road traffic seriously. Therefore, the research of rut prediction has become hot spot.This paper relies on the National Natural Project(E50678183)"The ruts compute and prediction of the asphalt pavement based on the travelling force", from the rheological properties of asphalt mixture to start, synthesize advantages of rheological constitutive models and propose new viscoelastoplastic model then completing the ruts calculation based on Viscoelastic model and viscoelastoplastic model.Firstly, by analyzing the current rheological constitutive model describe the relationship between stress and strain of asphalt mixture in the advantages and disadvantages and rheological properties of asphalt mixtures in high temperature, it propose the viscoelastoplastic constitutive model of asphalt mixtures.which more accord with deformation characteristics of asphalt mixture.Secondly, it raised the yield principle of asphalt mixture which combinated with high temperature creep properties, and it did viscoelastoplastic model regression by dynamic creep test data and analysed material characteristics and new viscoelastoplastic mode.At last, it did the ruts calculation based on Burgers model and viscoelastoplastic model, studied model parameters which entered in ANSYS, analyzed the change of rutting depth under the numberof axle load, temperature and overloading for asphalt pavement. Proved, the ruts calculation based on Burgers model and visco-elastic plastic model meet the actual deformation of asphalt pavement rutting.Through finite element ruts calculation and analysis based on viscoelastoplastic model,it reflected the reliability theory and application value of viscoelastoplastic model.
