As a key part of hoist,transportion and bearing equipments,the wire rope is widely used in many project practices, wire rope in the course of their work are subject to changes in the tension and the important factors affecting their life is directly related to human life and safety of state property . In recent years, a major accident occur caused by the sudden rupture of wire rope during operation . Therefore, the study of online quantitative detection of wire rope tension practical techniques and methods is essential.The purpose of the subject will develop a wire rope tension detection device based on NI PXI-bus of the United States, make judgment of real-time online changes in tension on the wire rope, the system mainly includes two parts: hardware and software componentsThe hardware part mainly complete the data detection and acquisition, including the design of the detector, conditioning circuit, PXI data acquisition hardware selection and installation and set some of the key parameters . Manufacture of the detector apply non-contact detection principle of the wire rope tension based onwave signal, testing components is the linear Hall circuit, processing circuit for zero amplified to achieve the requirements and scope of the data acquisition card, PXI hardware are complete analog-digital conversion of data to prepare for post-processing software.Software is part of the LabVIEW graphical programming language . Complete the analysis of the data processing according to window FFT algorithm. Combined with database technology, Microsoft Acesss database connected with the LabVIEW to develop a database management system, real-time data storage, query, delete and so on.The project developed by the wire tension measurement system has a stable and reliable, easy, friendly interface, high degree of automation. Using hardware-based PXI bus and the LabVIEW graphical programming language,the user can control the whole detection process through the computer easily.Besides the detection system can be improved and modified according to the users'actual need at any monment ,which makes the detection system applicability more widely.
