Establishment And Expression Of Cultural Landscape In Residential Area During The New Renewal Age In Britain

Combined with the construction and theory achievement during the city new renewal age, the paper analyzed the establishment and the expression of cultural landscape in city residential area. It dissected the foundations, the motivation, the core factors and the principals of cultural landscape design process.The paper used the inter-discipline theories, including the Design theory, Environmental Design theory, Urban Planning theory, Sociological theory, Cultural Geography theory and Landscape Ecology theory, which will be more powerful to examine and complete the theory building of cultural landscape construction. Based on the application framework of the service design, the design procession strongly promotes the cultural landscape to form in residential area. It includes cultural landscape design, cultural landscape building, cultural landscape realization and the cultural landscape feedback. The paper built the model of cultural landscape construction and the framework of collaboration during the cultural landscape construction. The project in UK supported the theory building and received the funding from Dundee City Council and Dundee community center. Finally, the paper summarized the meaningful reference and possible ways especially for China, which is also under the construction and renewal stage of residential area landscape building.
