There are many plateau route and plateau airports in western of China where the climate is complex and operating environment is poor, so it has higher risk to air operations. Safety of high altitude flight and emergency rescue needed to pay close attention and study deeply.Here analyzed the status of domestic and international emergency search and rescue, combined with the specific environment and landscape of the plateau, posed by the analysis of emergency rescue, implementation, external factors, the appropriate model is established from analysis and selection the factors that affect the emergency search and rescue of plateau flight. Assessment of the factors affects emergency search and rescue of plateau by expert system and AHP and the current situation of emergency search and rescue is based on theory of fuzzy mathematics to assess, comprehensive assessment of the situation is assessed by neural network. Digital elevation model for the map is used for the search and rescue of plateau flight.The results show that:First, priority consideration in the process of search and rescue are search planning and assessment concepts, search techniques and operation, communications, emergency coordination centre, SAR facilities, these factors should focus on building and control.Second, the results of situation assessment from a single interval into a membership vector by fuzzy mathematical theory, more objectively reflect the current situation of emergency rescue.Third, neural network assessment to unify the situation membership and assessment total score, with a systematic and scientific method, which is an effective tool for search and rescue situation assessment, this study helps managers make scientific decisions.At last, accurate extraction of terrain features was based on the digital elevation model, the right to access ridge lines, valley lines and terrain-blocking, is the basis to identify areas of distress and the development of the search route.This article can be expected that the results of research have a certain reference value on the emergency search and rescue of plateau flight. May the paper can do help to minimize casualties and property losses, to improve the probability of survival and successful emergency search and rescue.
