With the rapid development of Chinese economy and society, the demand ofdangerous chemicals in the production increases sharply. The accidents such asexplosion, leakage and fire are happened constantly in dangerous goods’ production, storage and transportation. It causes heavy damage to property and casualties withpolluting the environment. Therefore, the best measures to reduce casualties, propertyloss and environment pollution are discovering in time and taking appropriate measuresto emergency rescue when the dangerous goods accidents are inevitable. So it will havethe vital significance to construct the dangerous goods emergency rescue system, seek the most key factors influencing rescue effect and optimize the key factors taking areasonable method. This paper analyzes the current research at home and abroad of dangerous goodsemergency rescue. Through the comparative analysis, it is concluded that thecharacteristics and the future research trend in our country of dangerous goodsemergency rescue. The concepts of dangerous goods are introduced. Then the dangerousgoods emergency rescue system is constructed. The dangerous goods emergency rescueprocess is divided into emergency plan, emergency rescue operations and rehabilitationprocess. Through the construction of the system, the importance of path optimization isput forward. Then it gets a method of path optimization of emergency rescue system. The method is using the ArcGIS software and Dijkstra algorithm to optimize the rescuepath. It establishs a mathematical model of the road network of Chong Qing. This paperprovides a method of shortest path algorithm through the optimization process. Finally,it evaluates the rescue path of dangerous goods by AHP(analytic hierarchy process) andthe theory of fuzzy. Through the evaluation, this paper analyzes the weight of the keyfactors impacting the rescue. In the end it chooses a shortest path.
