Since the reform and opening up, China's economic growth, exports, domestic and imported goods are growing rapidly. The industrial production developed rapidly, the GDP has become the second largest in the world, and the demand for community transport of goods is huge. Today, logistics has become to be a major bottleneck which restricted the development of the industry, the State Council attaches great importance to the development of the logistics, and made it one of the" Top Ten Industry Promotion Plan".Port, as an important transit sites, effects ont only the port company, but also the development of the area around the port. In the process of continual upgrading of the port, the distribution, an important port enterprise's value-added services, plays a very important part of the enterprise's survival. However, compared with other countries, China's logistics enterprise generally have higher transport costs, because of the late start. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a solution based on ant colony optimization method to reduce the distribution costs, and enhance the port enterprise's competitiveness.This paper describes the development of China's logistics industry, discusses the importance of logistics, and analyzes the leading causes of China's logistics'high costs through the actual data; then introduces the TSP Problem and the Ant Colony Algorithm, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the Ant Colony Algorithm.Then use three standard TSP problems to test the Ant Colony Algorithm, through the comparation with the other modern algorithm, gives this paper the basis of using Ant Colony Algorithm; then established a mathematical model of VSP and analyze the model objective function and constraints, then using MATLAB programming language to simulate; at last,simulated the Taizhou Port Enterprise's historical data, and the author applied the optimization method to the practice.
