This article comes from the actual content of the project --- the research of GARMIN G1000 system repair technology. The project's main task is to develop a set of independent testing, diagnosis and maintenance platform of the GARMIN G1000 system to meet airplanes equipped with the G1000 avionics system of Civil Aviation Flight University of China, real-time maintenance purposes.At the same time, breaking the blockade of foreign technology and making an important contribution to China's general aviation maintenance. The system buses inside of GARMIN G1000 were analyzed in this paper, and a key part of the data conversion platform was exploratory achieved by using VC++ and LPC2132 microcontrollers, including hardware design, software design and the design of the host computer.First of all, basing on the analysis of the maintenance platform on the structure and principle, the principles and functions of each module was described in the paper. Secondly, an important part of the project is to analyze the GARMIN G1000 crosslinking within the system buses and transmission specifications, and the test of GARMIN G1000 system internal buses were summarized, these signals including digital signals, analog signals, discrete signals and power signals and so on. Finally, a data conversion platform design was achieved based on the analysis of several typical signals. Among them, the hardware design, including minimum system MCU circuit design, the external control circuit design, liquid crystal display design; software includes procedures for initialization, the serial port to receive, decode verification, complete design control, and realization; PC designed primarily with MSComm control implements the serial communication function.
