The Study On Progress Management Of Power Equipment Project

Owing to the rapid growth of China's economy, there is more and more electric power construction projects being concerned, which requires much more on the power construction project management. Since equipments account for a large proportion in the power construction projects, progress control and quality management of them, from designing, to purchasing, manufacturing, and installation, play a significant role in managing to complete the construction projects on schedule, and even ensure the economical efficiency of running. The progress, investment, quality and security of equipment engineering are interactional, and perfect progress control will no doubt rationalize the cash flow of the investment and enhance the quality and security of the projects.Base on the equipment engineering of electrical construction, the management control and objective management mainly about the design, purchase, manufacture, installation and adjustment of power equipment are analyzed in this paper. By referring to a large number of project management literatures, the development situation of domestic and international project management is analyzed; the forefront theory of the modern project progress management, including some basic content, methods and measures, is introduced; Combined with the characteristics of equipment engineering, the practical application and time-cost optimization of the equipment engineering projects are discussed. During to the large number of influencing factors and a big risk in the progress control of the electric power equipment engineering as a dynamic process, the paper insists to take reasonable analysis and forecast, adopt effective control management methods to realize progress management target dynamically.Finally, the paper takes the construction project of a power plant as a case to research the progress management. At the same time, the problems which should be paid attention to in the implementation of the project is pointed out, and some suggestions are put forward.
