Study On Spatial Development Patterns And Planning Countermeasures Of "high-speed Railway New Town" Along Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway

At the beginning of 21st century, the State Council promulgated the "long-term railway network plan," which clearly proposed to build "four vertical and four horizontal" high-speed rail passenger line. According to the plan, China will build more than 1.2 million km railway passenger line. Except for the high-speed railway passenger lines which has been built, other railway passenger lines are mostly designed at the speed of 200km / h at least, and in the future can be upgraded to high-speed railway. Along with the speeding up of the progress on planning and construction of passenger line and rising of railway operating speed,China has come into a"High-speed Rail Times".Along with the opening of the Wuhan-Guangzhou and the Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway, Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway will be completed soon and other high-speed rail lines being started , more and more scholars began to pay attention to the influence of high-speed rail hub section on urban space. It has become a hot topic in the development and construction of cities along high-speed railway lines that how to take the right urban functions for high-speed rail hub area so as to lead the development of urban space and promote land development and spatial integration.This paper studied on new urban functional areas (defined as"High-speed Rail Newtown") which are developed along the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway hub areas, focused on their spatial development patterns and planning countermeasures. It consists of 5 parts. Part1made clear the study object and significance; Part 2 defined and explained related concepts of this study; Part 3 sum up related foreign theories and practice, taking full advantage of practical experience about construction and development of high-speed railway hub areas in foreign countries, including France and Japan, to analysis the effecting and action mechanism of high-speed railway hub areas to urban space development; Part 4 taking Wuhan station, Guangzhou nan Station and Anyang station along Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway as examples,analyzed the characteristics and lack of development planning for areas around each station,summed up characteristics and spatial development patterns of China's "high-speed railway new town"; Part 5 proposed planning countermeasures for"High-speed Rail Newtown"in high-speed rail times, pointed out the lack of this study, and proposed directions and recommendations for further study.The main parts of this paper include Part 2, Part 3 (research foundation), Part 4 (research methods and basic conclusions) and Part 5 (practice and application of research findings). Thereinto, Part 4 and Part 5 are important research and discussing parts of the study, which analyzed the characteristics and laws about affecting factors of"high-speed railway new town" formation and development, proposed spatial development patterns and planning countermeasures for"high-speed railway new town" to development interactively with it regions.
