Research On The Vernacular Architecture In The Middle Part Of Jiangxi Province Based On The Open Building Theory

Jiangxi is a huge agricultural province of our country,it is of the important significance to have a research on its new vernacular houses.This thesis researches on the contemporary vernacular houses in the middle region of Jiangxi province,and lead the related theories and systems of"open building" into their design. Through the thorough research on the vernacular houses in this area could we enhance the deep understanding and application of them. Under the background of establishing the"two type society", we could also investigate the designing strategy and its structure which could not only satisfy the basic lives and productions need of the peasants', but also handle the future change of the family structure. This thesis is mainly divided into several parts of the followings:The first part, which aiming at building a clear and complete background for the latter parts, gives a brief introduction of the research object, aim, significance, research methods and the present research status home and abroadThe second part mainly introduces the geography environment, humanities background, resources characteristics...etc in the middle region of Jiangxi. And analyzing and categories the contemporary vernacular houses from the plan layout, structure form, material usage condition and construct mode etc, in order to discover the needs and the problems of the peasants'living environment in their construction process.The third part introduces the basic concept, characteristic, language tool and operation system of the"open building" theories.The fourth part clarifies the inner connection with the traditionally vernacular houses construction, together with the adoption of the SWOT analysis method to analyze the viability of leading the "open building" theories into the contemporary vernacular houses design,and carries on detailed analysis to two design cases of "open building" theories.The fifth part and the sixth part are the core parts of the whole text, they describe in detail the design strategy and the routine which combines the"open building"theories with the contemporary vernacular houses in the middle region of Jiangxi . The fourth part carries on zone analysis, units analysis in the contemporary vernacular houses in the middle region of Jiangxi through language tool and operate system of "open building" theories. The fifth part provides a few kinds of infill structure system which can be chosen in this area, and takes the light wood structure system for instance, introduces the related structure, material, construction mode and the foreground outlook of the infill and fill of the house. The seventh part based on the former chapters, investigates how to make use of the industrialized way to promote the"open building"theory in the rural area. Through the discussion of the development mode, the basic strategy and the promotion of industrialized way, we could build a overall frame terrace to promote the "open building" theory in this area. I am in the hope that through the inter-academicals analysis from the various views, there is a certain promotion for the development of the "open building" theory in the rural area.
