Research On The Practice Of Neo-vernacular Architecture In Southwest China Based On Vision Of Construction

As the globalization of the world intensifies,traditional culture is being eroded on a large scale.Modern civilization is quietly occupying all regions of the world.Southwest China,a minority settlement where far away from the Central Plains Han Culture District,has rich traditional ethnic culture and traditional forms of vernacular architecture.However,due to the complex topography and inconvenient transportation in the southwestern region,there are few researches on local architectures.With the influence of globalization and modernization,the number of local architectures has been rapidly decreasing;therefore,the research on traditional vernacular architecture is extremely urgent.In order to explore the way of conservation and inheritance of the traditional vernacular architectural culture in the southwest and the contemporary updating and development path of the vernacular architectures,this study preferred the practical cases of the southwest Neo-vernacular architecture as the research object,mainly in four aspects of construction system such as shape system and function,structure and construction,materials and technology,craftsman and craft respectively.In this study,a field survey was conducted on representative practical cases of Neo-vernacular architecture in the southwest,the methods of typology,sociology,morphology were used and based on the summarized cognition of architecture construction system of southwest traditional vernacular architecture,Neo-vernacular architecture Construction System was preliminarily constructed and obtained by Comparing,summarizing and illustrating these cases.And in the fifth chapter,a corresponding analysis was made on the development of the southwest Neo-vernacular architecture construction system.To sum up,this study summarizes the traditional vernacular architecture construction system in southwestern China.On the basis of studying the detailed and representative practical cases of the Neo-vernacular architecture,the Neo-vernacular architecture construction system for the southwest is preliminarily constructed.According to this system framework,it will provide a scientific theoretical basis and practical ideas for a large number of Neo-verbacular architectures construction in the southwestern China.
