Research On Renovation Of Vernacular Architecture Under The Perspective Of Tectonics

Transformation of vernacular architecture is a kind of subdivision in the field of transformation of old buildings. From the perspective of tectonics, this paper studies the transformation of vernacular architecture, hoping to obtain a new way of thinking and provide some relevant reference.The idea of tectonics includes three aspects:(1) achieve the specific significance of space by expressing the organization of material; (2) manifest the mechanical form and the structural form of the component; (3) In addition to the functional significance, constructure also reflects culture and art. From the three aspects of material, structure and construction, combining with the worldwide transformation cases of vernacular architecture, this paper analyzes these aspects to confirm the specific content embodying of the idea of tectonics. Based on the above research, how to carry out the idea of tectonics during the transformation design process of vernacular architecture is also further discussed.Transformation of vernacular architecture from the tectonics perspective, is to obtain more meaningful architectural space. Through the research, the transformation of the vernacular architecture related to tectonics has been basically cognized, which will provide help for the specific design.
