With the acceleration of national economic construction, a variety of power distribution networks in particular cities are about 20% per year rate of rapid growth. Complex network structure, a large number of electrical equipment, load moment of change, and a huge network of information, they all make the traditional management methods inadequate. If graphical based geographic information system (GIS) management of urban power grid, can get a multiplier effect. Especially in the GIS professional analysis adding modules to achieve not only the traditional GIS system closer to the production and management of power systems, and improve the level of power production and management. This paper complex structure of the current urban distribution network, equipment number, load changes frequently, the parameters for a difficult situation, is designed based on space - attributes GIS data integration and distribution network topology analysis of the line loss calculation model. Using the model, can automatically determine the trend of the path, display and statistical account segment conductor loss and transformer, to obtain the length of the wire model and the model parameters such as transformers and wires to support line loss calculations a single paragraph or a single transformer. Its biggest advantage is the ability to automatically adapt to the distribution network in the state and structural changes, is expected to further improve the theoretical calculation of line loss of precision, accuracy and feasibility. This article describes in detail the various frameworks and models of systems based on a detailed system functional analysis, database design and process design to ensure usability features, data integrity and accuracy of the process.
