As a decelerating device, harmonic reducer has been used more and more widely in the driving mechanisms of various kinds of spaceraft. The growing demand for harmonic reducer from spacecrafts has prompted the development in harmonic reducer test instruments or systems. The work in this thesis bases on a project from a certain research institute which requires designing and manufacturing a high-precision and full-automatic universal test platform for transmission accuracy of different kinds of harmonic reducer. Under this background the test platform has been deeply studied in this thesis from the viewpoint of both system design and engineering implementation.Firstly, the general design and the compositions of the test platform have been given on the basis of functional and technical requirements. Meanwhile, mechanical parts of the test platform, the fundermental theory for the optical system and the criterion on how to choose the angular test components are introduced. The analyzation of the interface communication of the whole test system is emphasized in this dissertation.Secondly,after comparing different anglar test strategies, the coarse-fine data coupling of double channel angle testing method is chosen for the turntable. In order to realize the digital test process, we choose the resolver-to-digital converter AD2S80A. Then, the coarse-fine data coupling criterion is given on the base on the coarse-fine data coupling principle. The whole design process of exitation power supply and the angular test circuit are illustrated. Fourthermore, the experimental results of agular test are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed strategies.Thirdly,according to the dynamic performance of the single-axis servo turntable, the control system is designed based on DSP. On the basis of the mathematical model of motor and other components, PID control stratergy is used to adjust the turntable control system. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the classical control stratergy in the actual project. Fourthermore, the hardware design of the turntable control system is also given in this thesis.At last,the control software of the test platform is programmed via VC++ technology. Modular design has been used during the design process of the data management system. In the light of its functions, the working principle of this system has been given and the flowchart has been settled. MSComm control and proEssential control are used in the data management system to implement the process of data analyzation and data processing, which play an important role in this system. The result of the software design is demonstrated at the end of this dissertation.
