Self-compacting lightweight concrete appeared right after the year of 2000, which at the same time has the self-compacting capability of self-compacting concrete and the high specific strength attribute as well as the thermal insulation ability of lightweight concrete. With its excellent performance in decreasing labor force, avoiding noise pollution and reducing material and resource consumption, self-compacting lightweight concrete perfectly meets the energy-saving and environment-protecting requirements of our society.Presently, Chinese studies of self-compacting lightweight concrete are in its beginning stage. Being small in quantity, the previous studies mostly restrict themselves to high strength self-compacting lightweight concrete, and the low strength self-compacting lightweight concrete is rarely touched. At the same time, mainly focusing on the working performance study and evaluation, the former studies overlooked the mechanical properties comparatively. All of these restricted the development of self-compacting lightweight concrete to a large extent.Fixing the volume of sand and gravel, applying the overall calculation method and orthogonal experiment design, the present research studies the mixture ratio design of SCLC20 self-compacting lightweight concrete, evaluates the working performance of every mixture ratio through the experiments of slump flow, J-ring and L-box, analyzes the influence of fly ash content, coarse aggregate and supplementary water consumption through adjusting the volume of them, measures the cubic compressive strength, axial compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength and analyzes ratio of tension and compressing, ratio of bend-press and the relationship between strength and age, fits the constitutive equation through compressive stress-strain curve experiment and at last simulates compressive stress-strain curve by using ansys.Besides the successful configuration of SCLC20 self-compacting lightweight concrete, this research also shows: the moderate enlargement of fly ash parameter can improve concrete's working performance; the large volume of coarse aggregate undermines concrete's working performance and strength and enhances its brittleness; self-compacting lightweight concrete has high specific strength, and the relationship between its age and strength is similar with common concrete, and it has high brittleness, low elastic modulus. The descending part of compressive stress-strain curve shows strong discreteness. The simulation of constitutive equation basically fits the results of experiment. This research enriches the studies of self-compacting lightweight aggregate concrete, provides references for the latter researches and pushes its development and promotion to some extent.
