Based on improving safe running, enhancing the loading and unloading efficiency, strengthening the monitoring of electrical fault and diagnosis, hydraulic bridge crane monitoring and management system was studied by monitoring and management technology. This application of Siemens S7-300 series PLC and configuration software WinCC to design monitoring management system, completing that a computer monitors three crane PLC systems, not only can reduce operating personnel working intensity, increase productivity, but also can real-timely monitor equipment running status and fault alarm, strengthen the safety of crane system and operators, and can provide historical data for the maintenance and repair.At first, according to analysis on the characteristics and function of the system, with the combination of monitoring system's development, this paper puts forward network structure of the system, hardware configuration and key technologies, and determines communication's way, that the machine communicating with field equipment through Process field Bus, and PC communicating with machine through Industrial Ethernet.Then designing this system, monitoring and management system is divided into two parts, the first is PLC control system, the second is monitoring system. The former uses Siemens S7-300 series PLC to control field equipment, and uses program software STEP 7 to design program, completing PLC control of hoist, gantry, and trolley according to crane's working theory, and simulates this system by PLCSIM. The latter with Siemens configuration software WinCC designes monitoring screens, adopts TCP/IP protocol as external channel, due to a computer monitoring three cranes, plus analysis of direct variables and structure variables, combines structure variables and picture window to design monitoring interfaces, and introduces respectively interfaces of all agencies in detail, like monitoring interface, trend interface, alarm interface and user administrator interface, etc.Finally, according to requirement analysis of system report, and combining function and characteristics of configuration software report, this paper uses the combining of VB script and SQL Server 2005 database to design important assignment report and equipment maintenance report.
