Research On Regional Integrated Transportation System Evaluation

Transportation system is an important part for social economic operation. It's the insurance for traffic modes well developing and cooperating. It's also the insurance for improvement of transportation efficiency and quality. Regional economic integration calls for the integration of transportation. With explicit of society work division, the position of each area in region economic system becomes more and more clear, and the communication among areas becomes more and more often. The building up of integrated transportation system is the key point of improvement for transportation mobility and accessibility.Integrated transportation system is composed with kinds of traffic modes. On different level, it has different connotation. In general, motor way and railway are the main modes in regional transportation, so discussion in this paper also focuses on them.The put forward and construction of integrated transportation in foreign country is earlier than ours. The author analyze the process and experience of integrated transportation development in other countries for first step, then contrast passengers and freight transport conformation, transportation infrastructure construction of our country and others. And point out the disadvantage in our integrated transportation construction.Based on the connotation of regional integrated transportation, we evaluate it from transportation network construction, transportation hub construction, sevice level, and management.As to transportation equity, the author defined regional transportation equity is mainly between urban and rural, among provinces, among social groups, among generations, and among traffic modes. According to these five transportation equity, an evaluation index system about regional transportation equity is set up. Advices for the goverment improving transportation equity in ecnominc region are also put forward in the end.Finally, this paper selects a few technical indexes, and use factor analysis to reduce the number of factors, principle components analysis to extract the component factors. The result shows that two factors can be used to quantified evaluate regional transportation development - transport task and economic support. According to the scores of each region getting on the two components, cluster analysis is used, and the status of each region can be known. Through contrasting analysis result and social development level, their coordination could be got. And the result shows that in our country, transportation and society are developing synchronous in regions.
