Coating and compound machine is an important processing equipment among packaging industry. Compared with dry coating compound machine, solvent-free coated compound has many advantages such as high production efficiency, energy saving, safety, and environmental protection, these advantages are concernned graually by the packaging industry. However, complicate equipment, difficult process, and difficulty to cultivate pilot-in-command limit this new machine's popularization and promotion in China. The research and development of this high-speed, high precision, high quality solvent-free coating composite equipment still saty at exploration stage.First, this paper mainly take solvent-free coated and compound machine as the research object, and deeply analysis its performance characteristics and structures. We would study design requirements and scheme selection of receive and rewind unit, coating unit, composite unit, tension control unit in solvent-free coated compound machine, and carries on dynamics analysis in rewinder unit, and then establish the state balance equation, and then establish the whole line simplified mathematical model which is based on the transfer function , it is a kind of nonlinear, time-varying, strong coupling, the multivariable control system. Rewind unit use magnetic powder brake, rewinder unit, coating unit, composite unit all adopts high control accuracy, strong reliability combined synchronous ac servo motor, the test components adopt bearing type tension tester. System constitution closed-loop control and keep tension constant in working process, and tension constant is the key and technical breakthrough of solvent-free coating.Secondly, In order to analysis and research the relationship of speed and tension, coil diameter, and simplified complex, time-varying, nonlinear multivariable whole line tension control system, only retain the most important and the most essential feature, and then the analysis of these characteristics, build its mathematical model, and finally integration into the whole line based on transfer function mathematical model. However, with the constant change of the coil diameter, using PID control can't satisfy precision control requirements, therefore, this paper put forward the thoughts of self-adaptive control, and put real-time changes roll diameter involved in the PID parameters adjustment mechanism, and to rewind section as an example for the corresponding MATLAB simulation analysis.
