In terms of generation, supply and consumption of electricity, how to sell and purchase electricity and how to calculate involves many technical and economic issues. It is very necessary to improve the correctness of electric power measuring of tripartite in generation, supply and consumption. Therefore, to strengthen electric power metering management has become the foundation of electric metering device quality management and quality assurance. What's more, it is also the foundation of ensuring the reputation of Electricity Corporation and the satisfaction of people.This article starts with the present situation of Tianjin electric power measuring management system, introduces the theoretical frontiers and development trends of electricity measuring management, highlights some problems in electricity measuring management by describing the developing history, plans the development of electricity measuring management in terms of analyzing the requirements of measuring management, in order to improve management efficiency, reduce management costs, ensure production running smoothly, strengthen quality control and realize effective resource control and full life-cycle management of the measuring assets.
