In recent years, with electricity consumption increasing year by year and large-scale power grid construction, high voltage switchgear in power systems is also increasing. The contacts inside the cabinet have overheated that has become key issues during using switch cabinet. Excessive temperature rised by switchgear contacts, can directly affect the safe and stable operation of equipment. If left unchecked, it will make pieces of insulation performance and equipment life a huge impact and even lead to fires.For the current shortage of temperature measurement technology on high voltage switchgear, and taking into account the high voltage switch cabinet space is small and difficult to measure, high voltage and so on,In this paper, a remote infrared temperature measurement method have been used,This method which has the speed, range, low cost and simple system, the temperature field is no interference and other advantages, can prevent excessive temperature rise of high voltage switchgear contacts, and the fire will be killed in the cradle.This paper presents a New Fire Alarm System about High Voltage Switchgear which is based on MSP430,long-distance communications and infrared temperature measurement. The system consists of temperature sensors, signal conditioning circuitry, microcontroller, RS485 network and the host machine.Both the hardware and software are introduced following:On the hardware side, This paper describes the signal conditioning circuit design and implementation; Microcontroller hardware design and implementation of the module; RS485 remote communication hardware; Fire alarm device driver circuit design; Humidity Monitoring on High Voltage Switchgear;Real-time video surveillance and smoke alarms to ensure the accuracy of the system's efficiency;Finally, the analysis of high voltage switchgear electromagnetic interference, hardware design is proposed anti-jamming measures. On the software side, I mainly achievement the lower computer programming design of each subroutine,PC achieved serial communication ,the data real-time display and database modules by Delphi.Finally, I introduce the experimental platform, and finish the system debug, Error of the system is analyzed and verified by experiments, Based on the experimental, I analysis a variety of factors affecting the temperature measurement accuracy and make a experimental conclusion.
