The Study On Topographical Design In Landscape Architecture Of Residential Area

With the rapid development of urbanization construction and continuously improvement of relevant rules, residential environment become an important carrier of urban habitat. People require better environment quality for life unceasingly, so creating a beautiful environment and multi-functional "homeland" became the primary task of modern residential landscape environment construction. Viewing the domestic residential market, blind imitation of popular western landscape style and pursuit for magnificent effect cause the lack of harmonious consciousness and unsystematic in the construction of residential environment, which make it difficult to realize the function of landscape and space. As the carrier of garden system, terrain plays a decisive role in improving residential landscape environment.Residential terrain is regard as the study object. Firstly, classify residential garden terrain and discuss the function of landscape, ecology and recreation. Then analyze the factors which influence landform design in residential area from the aspects of field, humanization and plant construction. Finally, inspire the new approach to terrain design through studying the Chinese and Western traditional terrain shaping and the artistic creation while considering terrain design with other landscape basic, hoping to provide certain reference to gardens environment construction in residential areas.(1) Compared with undulating terrain, flat terrain can also play a lasting and beneficial role in residential areas by pattern planting, the stack of natural sandstone and lumber, combining metaphor design and symbolic design of regional culture.(2) Study from the restrictions of residential areas, suggest that the landform design according to residential scale and layout, put forward the idea that the terrain shaping should along with surrounding environment and layout. Focus on the need for prevention of disaster and risk in urban residential areas.(3) Art is always accompanied by personality. Apply the method of Minimalist, Land Art and Deconstructionist to design of landform in the current residential landscape without personality will improve gardens environment quality and introject the designer's individual ideas and emotions. Concise and straightforward of Minimalist, tender and deep emotion of Land Art, dynamic and reflection of Deconstructionist, which influence on the people's spiritual world stealthily. Art terrain shaping method represent spiritual enjoy for people, which accord with today's demand for residential environment.(4) Terrain design with other garden factors can strengthen their landscape effect, form the different sense of space, enrich sightseeing experience, satisfy practical function and the needs for cultural connotation. Integration design based on the original terrain features can create pleasant and unique landscape.
