Study On Adaptive Design Of The Cultural Landscape In A New Campus

In recent years, universities across the country continue the new campus building boom, the construction of new campus has brought development opportunities to the university, but the process of building is full of challenges. Campus culture and the heritage spirit of the University is the important issue of a New Campus construction, while the carrier of cultural and spiritual-the cultural landscape creation should become the important issue to designers. This paper described the heritage of campus cultural from landscape to spirit, by the introduction of the concept of adaptive design; explore new ideas, direction and methods to the construction of campus culture.This paper researched on the connotation of campus culture spirit and the cultural landscape, the relationship, expression, and methods as well; discussed the influencing factors of related concepts involved in adaptive design and campus cultural landscape, focused on the source of the concept, definition, and application of adaptive design; There are four aspects:The students' behaviors and psychological needs, campus culture spiritual, cultural landscape expression elements and region, to analysis the adaptive design of cultural landscape. Discussed principles and methods of these four aspects; summarized: behavioral and psychological satisfaction, shaping the culture, the coordination of express elements and sustainable development design.Cultural landscape of new college campus, not only to emphasize the adaptability of the design function, but also enhance its inherent spiritual and cultural values, to prevent cloning and replication. The design should fully tap the historical outstanding of old campus, and heritage unique cultural landscape context, highlighting local culture and create distinctive cultural landscape, in order to promote the overall development of students and the formation of university cultural atmosphere in the new campus.
