Transmission line building plays an important role in development of national power network. But traditional design method has many disadvantages such as procedure complicated, wasting time inconvenience in altering. For this problem, much commercial software has been exploited, however, these softwares are versatility, they have some problems when using in local designing institute. Based on AutoLisp language, we exploited the transimission line design software,theorying the way of design and homes outs references,which can run under the environment of AutoCAD, and my work experience in Kunming designing institute.AutoCAD quadric explore bases on materials'parameter, as the database, which can match with modern measuring apparatus. It has established terrain plane and profile sheets blueprint, tower altering, the bill of materials, graph data, calculation of electrical wire and the distance of two towers, control factor judging mould. In same time, it displays the dialog box of each mould in the paper. The system's success has already used in the local trassion design of Yunnan. Compared with traditional ways,the accuracy and efficiency have greatly improved.So it can satisfy the designers'demand.
