Research On Conceptual Design Method Based On TRIZ And AD

In the 21st century, the product-oriented business competition becomes intenser and the new product development relates to the survival and development of the enterprises. Conceptual design is one of the most important stages of the new product development, and as the excellent design theory, TRIZ and Axiomatic Design (AD) can achieve conceptual design process well. So the research on the achievement of conceptual design process by TRIZ and Axiomatic Design is of great significance.In this paper, conceptual design is the object of research. After researching the combination of TRIZ and Axiomatic Design, the conceptual design process model used to improve product based on TRIZ and AD is established, then the wheel loader is improved depending on this model. The conceptual design process model used to improve product based on TRIZ and AD embodies the conceptual design process for product improvement, and it is so prominently scientific and instructional that it has a great theoretical and practical value. The main contents of the paper are as follows:Firstly, based on the general process of conceptual design, according to the related theories, the concept of the conceptual design used to improve product is proposed and the conceptual design process model used to improve product is established.Secondly, the achievements of the conceptual design used to improve product respectively by the tools and methods of TRIZ and Axiomatic Design are researched, and then the conceptual design process model used to improve product based on TRIZ and the conceptual design process model used to improve product based on AD are established respectively. The two independent models are explained by analyzing the related tools and methods of the two design theories.Thirdly, based on the deep comparative research between TRIZ and Axiomatic Design, integrate the two design theories in the conceptual design process used to improve product to play to their strengths, and then the conceptual design process model used to improve product based on TRIZ and AD is established and explained.At last, the wheel loader is improved successfully by the conceptual design process model used to improve product based on TRIZ and AD to demonstrate the practicality of the model.
